Port-au-Prince, Haiti, 10 March 2026 – Following its success in connectivity infrastructure, National Telecom S.A. (NATCOM) is intensifying its strategy toward a cashless economy, utilizing Natcash QR and Scan-to-Pay solutions as cornerstones to modernize consumer behavior in Haiti.

NATCOM NATCASH QR SOLUTIONS

This March, Natcash is expanding its digital ecosystem by optimizing its Scan-to-Pay features for daily essentials. Users can now pay directly at retail outlets, restaurants, and pharmacies via Natcash QR technology, minimizing the risks associated with carrying cash and enhancing transaction transparency.

Furthermore, the platform is enhancing user experience through recurring payment features for public services, including tuition fees, insurance, and utility bills. These features not only offer superior convenience for households but also empower small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to manage cash flows efficiently and access accurate digital financial records through the Natcash merchant system.

Technologically, Natcom continues to strengthen system stability, capable of processing millions of concurrent transactions to ensure instant and highly secure payments. By shifting traditional payment habits, Natcom is actively partnering with the government to modernize the national financial system and foster sustainable economic growth.

About NATCOM

Established in 2011, NATCOM is a joint venture between Viettel Group (Vietnam) and the Government of Haiti. It is the leading provider of comprehensive telecommunications services and smart mobile financial solutions (Natcash).
